 "The
contaminated filters are loaded into a hopper and gravity feed
into the compaction channel.
The EKO patented dual densifying method compacts the oil filters
while allowing the oil to migrate to the recycling system.
 The
first stage compresses the filters at 4,500 lbs. per square
inch, extracting the majority of the contaminating oil.
The second stage, using 12,000 p.s.i. pressure, then extracts
the remaining oil while shaping the steel into the dry EKO brickquet,
which is ideal feed stock for a smelter.
 The
entire process occurs inside a completely closed system, eliminating
any adverse environmental impact and providing complete safety
factors to the operation."
