EKO Manufacturing Corp. of Elmira Ontario is leading the world
in multi-axis technology. Its team of engineers and fabricators
headed by founder Irvon Weber have developed the EKO densification
systems which are proving that contaminated metal wastes from
industrial turnings, to used oil filters, to toxic and explosive
products packaged under pressure can be recycled profitably.
The proven success of EKO's METALPAK, HAZPAK AND FILTERPAK systems
has led to a broad range of new technology in the research and
design stages including systems to handle densification of 55
gal steel drums, tire wire from the tire recycling industry
to briquetting post consumer cans, industrial stampings and
tailings. Work is also underway on systems to dewater sludges
and fine metal swarfs, and the densification of radioactive
materials for more cost effective long term storage.
EKO will also custom design densification system to meet its
customers' specific needs. EKO is committed to developing quality
products that will meet the waste management challenges and
provide innovative answers for industry. Located less than an
hour's drive from Toronto, EKO's technology headquarters is
in the center of Canada's technology and industrial heartland.
